 Day 37 of The 100 Day Poetry Project

I wrote this on International Women's Day and I wanted to honor the women in my life with a poem. Women's work is so often demeaned and women work really hard. I wanted to honor women and the work they do today through my grandma who was a hard-working woman. All of my grandmas were hard-working women and I'm a better person because of them. This poem is about my dad's mom, Marjorie. She loved to read and play the piano as well as crochet. She taught me to crochet and I still have the blanket she made me when I was 10. I love you a bushel and a peck Grandma.
