 Day 32 of The 100 Day Poetry Project

Today's poem is a memory. I'm a pretty friendly person and enjoy talking to strangers and this man was so friendly. I was with my husband who is nice but doesn't like to talk to people he doesn't know. Anyways long story short, this lovely black man hugged my husband first and then hugged me and it was something that affected both of us deeply and my husband talks about it often. How he was hugged by a stranger in the skyway. It just doesn't happen every day! I think this experience changed him. He realized how important a simple act of kindness is.
