Day 93 of The 100 Day Poetry Project

 Day 93 of The 100 Day Poetry Project

May 25th is my son's birthday and it's also the one-year anniversary of the day that George Floyd was killed. I've tried writing about this day multiple times. I think this poem captures how I'm feeling today. So much love and hope for my son and so much grief for George and his family.
